What is Outreach MCP?
The Outreach MCP server gives AI agents access to your Outreach sales engagement data. That means agents can create, read, update, and delete prospects and accounts, manage opportunities, build multi-step sequences and enroll prospects in them, send tracked emails from a connected mailbox, log tasks and calls, and read a granular activity stream of opens, clicks, and replies. It works across the objects your sales team runs on every day, from prospects and accounts to sequences, mailings, and tasks.
If your reps spend time entering prospect data by hand, enrolling contacts into cadences one at a time, chasing down which emails got opened, or logging calls and tasks after the fact, an AI agent can take over a lot of that busywork. Describe what you need, and your AI agent will handle the sales engagement for you.
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It’s an open standard that gives AI agents a way to connect to external tools and services. Instead of registering your own Outreach OAuth app, managing client IDs and secrets, and rotating refresh tokens yourself, you connect your Outreach account to Gumloop once. After that, you can run your outbound motion just by chatting with your AI agent.

What you can do with Outreach MCP on Gumloop
Manage prospects and accounts
Create, read, update, and delete prospects and accounts, and add notes to either. Filter prospects by owner, stage, persona, title, engagement score, and created, updated, or engaged date ranges, so an agent can find and maintain the right records.
Build and activate sequences
Create interval- or date-based sequences, add email, call, and task steps, attach templates to those steps, and activate, deactivate, or delete a sequence. An agent can stand up a full cadence, not just read one.
Enroll and control prospects in sequences
Add a prospect to a sequence, then pause, resume, or finish their enrollment, or remove them entirely. An agent can pace outreach based on what a prospect does.
Send tracked emails and manage templates
Send a real one-off email from a connected mailbox with open and link tracking and an optional follow-up task, and create or update the templates reps reuse. Because these emails go out to real prospects, they’re a natural place to add a human review step.
Log tasks and calls
Create, update, complete, and delete tasks, and log calls with direction, outcome, notes, timestamps, and dispositions or purposes. An agent can keep activity records current without a rep typing them in.
Read engagement and the activity stream
Inspect emails by delivery state and by opened, clicked, replied, or bounced timestamps, and read a fine-grained event feed of prospect activity. An agent can prioritize the hottest leads based on real engagement signals.
Manage opportunities and deals
Create, read, update, and delete opportunities, and read opportunity stages, so an agent can keep pipeline in sync. Opportunity access requires the Opportunities SKU on your Outreach org.
Look up org directory and metadata
Read users, teams, stages, personas, mailboxes, and call dispositions and purposes to resolve owners, route work, and categorize activity correctly.

Outreach MCP use cases
Automated prospect intake and enrollment for SDR teams
When new leads arrive from a form, a list, or another tool, a Gumloop agent can create the prospect and account in Outreach, set the owner and stage, and enroll the prospect in the right sequence with the correct mailbox. Reps start the day with a queue that’s already loaded.
Engagement-based prioritization for account executives
An agent can filter prospects by engagement score and pull recent opens, clicks, and replies from the activity stream, then post a ranked list of the hottest accounts to Slack each morning. AEs spend their time on the prospects most likely to convert.
Sequence building from a campaign brief
Given a campaign outline, an agent can create a new sequence, add the email, call, and task steps in order, attach the right templates, and activate it. A cadence that used to take an afternoon in the UI gets assembled in one run.
Activity and pipeline reporting for sales managers
An agent can pull emails, tasks, calls, and events over a date range, summarize team activity and pipeline movement, and write the results into a Google Sheet or a Slack digest. Managers get a current picture without anyone exporting data by hand.
Cross-tool RevOps automation
Connect Outreach with Salesforce, Google Sheets, and Slack in a single agent. Sync new opportunities to a forecast sheet, alert an owner when a prospect replies, or create a follow-up task the moment a call is logged, so your engagement platform stays in step with the rest of your stack.
Why use Gumloop for Outreach MCP
Connect once, no OAuth app to manage
Outreach supports OAuth only, and most Outreach MCP servers you’ll find on GitHub make you register your own OAuth app, manage a client ID and secret, and rotate refresh tokens in code. With Gumloop you just connect your Outreach account and you stay connected as tokens refresh automatically. No OAuth app registration, client secrets, or coding against the Outreach API necessary.
Works with multiple MCP clients
Use the Outreach MCP server endpoint in Claude Desktop, Cursor, or directly inside Gumloop agents. Same server URL, works with any MCP client.
Chain Outreach with 100+ other integrations
Combine Outreach with Salesforce, Gmail, Google Sheets, Slack, and other MCP tools in a single AI agent. An agent can pull a lead from one tool, enrich it, create the prospect in Outreach, and alert the owner, all in one run.
Enterprise-grade and scalable
Built for teams, with role-based permissions and dedicated support for Pro users. For details on Gumloop’s security practices, see trust.gumloop.com.
Pricing with a free trial
You can test the Outreach MCP integration during Gumloop’s 14-day free trial before committing. Paid plans start at $37/month.
