What is Gong MCP?

The Gong MCP server gives AI agents access to your revenue intelligence data in Gong. That means agents can search and list calls, pull call details and full transcripts, review scorecards and tracker matches, read interaction stats, browse the call library, manage Gong Engage flows, and audit users and workspaces. It works across your Gong data, so an AI agent can analyze your sales conversations and act on them without anyone replaying a recording.

If you spend time reviewing sales calls one by one, copying notes into your CRM, or pulling coaching data together by hand, an AI agent can take over a lot of that work for you. Describe what you need, and your AI agent will pull the calls and surface the insights.

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It’s an open standard that gives AI agents a way to connect to external tools and services. Instead of registering an OAuth app, writing code against the Gong API, and managing tokens, you connect your Gong account once. After that, you analyze your calls just by asking your AI agent in plain language.

What you can do with Gong MCP on Gumloop

  • Search and list calls

List calls over a date range and pull detailed call data with content and interaction metrics, filtered to the conversations you care about. A fast way to point an agent at the right calls.

  • Pull call details and transcripts

Retrieve a specific call’s data and its full transcript, so an AI agent can summarize the conversation, extract action items, or analyze how it went.

  • Review scorecards and coaching

Pull all scorecards in the system and the answered scorecards reviewed over a date range, with their questions, scores, and comments. Useful for rolling up coaching trends across reps.

  • Track keywords and interaction stats

Retrieve keyword trackers (competitor mentions, objections, pricing talk) and interaction stats for users, so agents can spot trends at scale, across many calls.

  • Browse the call library

List library folders and pull their contents to find curated calls and snippets your team has saved.

  • Run Gong Engage flows

List Engage flows and flow folders, see which flows prospects are assigned to, and assign or unassign prospects from flows to drive your outreach sequences.

  • Manage call access

See which users have access to specific calls, and grant or revoke individual access. Handy for keeping sensitive conversations on a need-to-know basis.

  • Add calls and audit your org

Add a new call to Gong from a media URL, look up users, list all company users and workspaces, and validate a user’s meeting integration.

Gong MCP use cases

Automated call summaries and follow-ups

After a call, an AI agent can pull the transcript, write a concise summary with action items, and post it to Slack or draft a follow-up email. Reps and managers get the recap without rewatching the recording.

Deal-risk and competitive intelligence

An agent can scan trackers and interaction stats across recent calls for competitor mentions, pricing objections, or low engagement, then flag the deals that need attention. The agent flags risk signals from what’s said on calls, so nothing waits on a manual review.

Coaching insights for enablement

Pull scorecards and interaction stats across a team, then have an AI agent spot trends and outliers, like reps who dominate the talk track or skip discovery. Enablement gets data-backed coaching themes instead of anecdotes.

Sales engagement with Gong Engage

Based on call signals, an agent can assign prospects to the right Engage flow (or pull them out when a deal moves), keeping outreach sequences aligned with what’s actually happening on calls.

Cross-platform RevOps workflows

Combine Gong with Salesforce, Slack, and Google Sheets in a single AI agent: pull call insights from Gong, log a summary to the CRM through the Salesforce MCP, and share highlights in Slack, all without manual handoffs.

Why use Gumloop for Gong MCP

  • No API key, no token management

Building your own Gong MCP server means registering an OAuth app, handling the Gong API’s token exchange and refresh, and writing code to parse responses. Instead, Gumloop handles the Gong OAuth flow for you: click Connect, authorize once, and your token refreshes automatically. No access key or secret, and no code against the Gong API.

  • Works with multiple MCP clients

Use the Gong MCP server endpoint in Claude Desktop, Cursor, or directly inside Gumloop. Same server URL, works with any MCP client.

  • Chain Gong with 100+ other integrations

Combine Gong with Salesforce, Slack, Google Sheets, and other MCP tools in a single AI agent. Pull call insights, analyze them with an LLM, and write the results wherever your team works.

  • Enterprise-grade and scalable

Built for teams, with role-based permissions and dedicated support for Pro users. The Gong MCP respects your existing Gong permissions, so an agent only reaches what your credentials can.

  • Pricing with a free trial

You can test the Gong MCP integration during Gumloop’s 14-day free trial before committing. Paid plans start at $37/month.
