DESCRIPTION

What does this flow do?

Provide a person's LinkedIn profile and a set of scoring criteria, and this flow will return a brief summary of that person's background and a score 0โ€“100 representing how well the person fits the specified criteria.

Here's how it works:

  1. Input the URL of a person's LinkedIn profile

  2. Input the desired criteria for scoring the profile

  3. This triggers the subflow "LinkedIn Scraping," which scrapes the specified LinkedIn profile and evaluates it against the scoring criteria

  4. Optional: specify an additional service for the report output (like Airtable, Google Sheets, Google Docs, email, etc.)

Who is this for?

  • Salespeople trying to find the best point of contact for cold outreach

  • Hiring managers assessing a candidate's suitability

  • Recruiters looking for potential candidates

How to customize this flow

Define the scoring criteria

Adjust the scoring criteria depending on your needs. This could mean taking into account location, job experience, tenure, education, etc.

Examples of criteria you could use:

  • DEFAULT: Work Experience in their respective field. 0 is someone with absolutely no experience and 100 is someone with many years of experience, high profile positions and many achievements.

  • Tempe, AZ restaurants โ€” decision-maker (Owner/Founder/Marketing/PR)

  • Junior-level data analysts in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate; non-profit experience preferred.

Add an additional service for the output

By default the summary and score will be returned in Gumloop. You might want to add an additional step where the output gets written to a different service, e.g. Google Docs, Airtable, etc. If so, you'll generally want to follow these steps:

  1. Add a node for your desired service in the main flow page ("LinkedIn Profile Processor"). In most cases, this will likely be a "write" type node (e.g. Write to Google Docs, Write to Airtable, etc.).

  2. Connect the output of the "LinkedIn Scraping" subflow node to the new node you just added

  3. Configure the new node to use the "Output" variable from the "LinkedIn Scraping" subflow node.

HOW DO YOU SET THIS UP?

1.

Input a LinkedIn profile URL

Input the LinkedIn profile URL(s) of the candidate(s) you wish to analyze.

2.

Provide scoring criteria.

By default, this will evaluate the profile based on work experience in their field.

3.

Optional: set up an additional node to write the output to another service

This can be Google Docs, Google Sheets, Airtable, etc.
