What is Google Slides MCP?
The Google Slides MCP server gives AI agents full access to your Google Slides presentations. That means agents can create a deck from scratch, read its structure and content, add and edit slides and elements, manage tables, run find and replace, update speaker notes, handle comments, and export the result to PDF or PPTX. It connects to the same presentations your team keeps in Google Drive, so an agent can build or update a deck instead of you laying out slides by hand.
Building presentations eats real time: dropping in text and images, restyling elements, swapping a client name across every slide, and writing the speaker notes. The Google Slides MCP server hands that work to an AI agent that can assemble the deck, edit the slides, and write the notes. Describe the deck you need, and your AI agent will put it together for you.
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets AI agents call external tools. Normally, working with the Google Slides API means setting up OAuth credentials and writing code against its endpoints. Gumloop wraps all of that behind a hosted server: authorize your Google account once. After that, you can create decks, edit slides, and export presentations just by chatting with your AI agent.

Change the styling, text, position, or properties of an element, refresh charts, or delete elements you no longer need.
Work with tables

Google Slides MCP use cases
Auto-generate decks for sales and marketing
An agent pulls the latest numbers from a sheet or report and builds a branded presentation with the slides, text, and tables already laid out, so a rep starts from a finished draft.
Personalize templated decks for account teams
An agent duplicates a master deck and runs find and replace to swap in each client’s name and details, turning one template into many tailored versions.
Draft speaker notes for presenters
An agent reads a deck and writes speaker notes for each slide from a set of talking points, so the presenter has a script to refine.
Export and deliver decks for ops
An agent exports a finished presentation to PDF and sends it by email or posts it to Slack, so stakeholders get the file without opening Slides.
Run a review pass for content teams
An agent leaves comments on slides that need changes, then later resolves them once the edits are made, keeping feedback in one place.
Why use Gumloop for Google Slides MCP
Connect once, no code
Working with the Google Slides API directly means setting up OAuth credentials and writing code against its endpoints. With Gumloop you authorize your Google account one time and stay connected. No credentials to configure, no tokens to manage, no code to write.
Works with multiple MCP clients
Use the same hosted Google Slides MCP server in Gumloop, Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible clients. Same server URL, works with any MCP client.
Chain Google Slides with 100+ integrations
An agent can pull data from a Google Sheet, build a deck in Slides, and post the link to Slack, all in a single run.
Enterprise-grade hosting
Gumloop hosts the server for you and respects your existing Google Drive permissions, so an agent works within the presentations your account can already reach. See trust.gumloop.com for security details.
Free to start
Gumloop has a free tier so you can try the Google Slides MCP server at no cost. Paid plans start at $37/month.
