Installation
Set up the Gamma MCP server in Gumloop
Do this once to provision your hosted server URL.
Create a Gumloop account
To use this MCP, you need a Gumloop account. If you don't have one yet, you can create one for free.
Add and authorize the Gamma server
In Gumloop, open Connectors and add Gamma. Depending on the app, you'll either sign in via OAuth or paste an API key. Either way, the credential is stored securely in Gumloop.

What is Gamma MCP?
The Gamma MCP server gives AI agents access to Gamma’s AI content generation. That means agents can generate full presentations, documents, webpages, and social posts from a text prompt, choose the format, theme, length, and tone, pick from Gamma’s AI image models, adapt an existing Gamma project as a template, export the result to PDF or PPTX, and check generation status to pull back the finished Gamma URL. It covers the create side of Gamma: turning a prompt into polished, multi-card content without manual slide design.

Instead of writing code against the Gamma API, generating an X-API-KEY header, polling the generation endpoint, and parsing JSON responses yourself, you add your Gamma API key to Gumloop once. After that, you can create finished content just by chatting with your AI agent.

Turn a short prompt or a long block of source text into a finished piece of content. Pick the format you want (presentation, document, webpage, or social), and your AI agent generates the multi-card result, then returns the live Gamma URL once it’s ready.
Control format, theme, length, and tone
Set the theme, the number of cards (up to 75, depending on your Gamma plan), and how the text reads. Tune amount (brief to extensive), tone, audience, and language so the output matches the channel and reader you have in mind.
Choose AI image models and styles
Gamma can pull from a deep set of AI image models (including DALL-E 3, GPT Image, Gemini, Flux, Imagen, and Ideogram) or auto-select for you. Set the image source and style so visuals fit the brand and topic instead of dropping in generic stock art.
Generate from an existing Gamma project as a template
Point your AI agent at an existing Gamma project and a new prompt, and it produces fresh content that follows that template’s structure. Useful for turning one strong deck into many tailored versions.
Export to PDF or PPTX at generation time
Ask for an export when you generate, and Gamma produces a PDF or PPTX. The export URL comes back with the generation status, so an agent can hand off a ready-to-send file in the same run.
Set sharing and folder placement at creation
Define workspace access, external access, and email invites when content is generated, and drop the new Gamma project into a specific folder so it lands in the right place from the start.
Track generation status and retrieve the finished URL
Generation runs asynchronously, so your AI agent can check status with the generation ID and pull the completed Gamma URL (and any export link) the moment it’s done.
Browse themes and folders
List the themes and folders in your Gamma workspace, search them by name, and feed the right theme ID or folder ID into the next generation so output stays on brand and organized.
