DESCRIPTION

What does this flow do?

Use this flow to summarize the most recent contents of your Gmail inbox.

Here's how it works:

  • Authenticate with the Gmail account you want to summarize (the one marked as "Personal Default" in your Gumloop settings)

  • Provide the following info in the interface node:

    1. Your personal email (where the summary will be emailed to) Note: this is NOT the email that will be summarized.

    2. Desired summary style (Detailed, Grouped by Topic, Concise, Priority-First)

    3. Number of emails to read (default: 5)

    4. Toggle: whether you want the flow to read the entire email thread

    5. Optional parameters:

      • Gmail label to read from ("Inbox" by default)

      • Search query

      • Key focus areas (e.g. sender address, subject, etc.)

      • Any additional notes/instructions

  • If "Read Full Thread" was toggled "No," run the "Inbox Summary (Top Level Emails)" subflow

  • If "Read Full Thread" was toggled "Yes," run the "Inbox Summary (Full Thread)" subflow

  • Summary is emailed to the Gmail address provided as your "Personal Email"

HOW DO YOU SET THIS UP?

1.

Authenticate Gmail credentials

The Gmail nodes are located in the "Inbox Summary (Top Level Emails)"/"Inbox Summary (Full Thread)" subflows. NOTE: the Gmail credential you authenticate is the inbox that will be summarized by the flow, NOT the "Personal Email" input into the interface.

2.

Input personal email

In the "Personal Email" field of the interface, input the email you want the summary to be sent to.

3.

Select summary style

Choose the desired level of detail for your summary (Detailed, Grouped by Topic, Concise, Priority-First)

4.

Input number of emails to read

By default, this is set as 5.

5.

Toggle whether you want the flow to read the full thread for each email

"No" means this flow will run the "Inbox Summary (Top Level Emails)" subflow; "Yes" means this flow will run the "Inbox Summary (Full Thread)" subflow.

6.

Optional: additional parameters

If desired, provide: Gmail label to read from ("Inbox" by default), search query, key focus areas (e.g. sender address, subject, etc.), any additional notes/instructions
