LinkedIn Company Insights Scraper

What does this flow do?

Use this flow to extract data from a company's LinkedIn page, and (if desired) also grab recent news.

Here's how it works:

• Provide LinkedIn URL of the company whose info you want to scrape

• Choose whether you also want to "Search Company News"

  • If yes, run the "Company Profile Scraping + News" subflow

  • If no, run the "Company Profile Scraping" subflow

• Main flow returns text output

By default, this flow scrapes for the following attributes: company name, description, industry, website, company size range, company type, founded year, headquarters, tagline, similar companies, affiliated companies.

How to customize this flow

Change the scraped information

By default, this flow scrapes for the following attributes: company name, description, industry, website, company size range, company type, founded year, headquarters, tagline, similar companies, affiliated companies.

You can add or remove the types of information you want to scrape in the "LinkedIn Company Profile Scraper" nodes in both the "Company Profile Scraping + News" and "Company Profile Scraping" subflows.

Add an additional service for the output

By default the scraped data (+ news) will be returned in Gumloop. You might want to add an additional step where the output gets written to a different service, e.g. Google Docs, Airtable, etc. If so, you'll generally want to follow these steps:

1. Add a node for your desired service in the main flow page ("LinkedIn Company Page Scraper"). In most cases, this will likely be a "write" type node (e.g. Write to Google Docs, Write to Airtable, etc.).

2. Connect the output of the "Company Profile Scraping + News" subflow node to the new node you just added.

3. Configure the new node to use the "Output" variable from the "Company Profile Scraping + News" subflow node.

4. Repeat Steps 1–3 for the "Company Profile Scraping" subflow.
