What is Fathom MCP?
The Fathom MCP server gives AI agents access to your Fathom meeting recordings. That means agents can browse and filter meetings, read AI-generated summaries, pull full transcripts with speaker attribution, include action items and CRM matches, and view teams and members. AI agents can turn your recorded meetings into summaries, follow-ups, and analysis.
If you spend time writing up meeting notes, chasing action items, or copying call takeaways into the CRM, an AI agent can take over a lot of that work. Describe what you need, and your AI agent will pull the summaries and action items for you.
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It’s an open standard that gives AI agents a way to connect to external tools and services. Instead of registering an OAuth app, configuring scopes, and writing code against the Fathom API, you connect your Fathom account once. After that, you can work with your meeting recordings just by chatting with your AI agent.

Fathom MCP use cases
Automated meeting summaries and follow-ups
After a call, an AI agent can pull the Fathom summary and action items, write a clean recap, and post it to Slack or draft a follow-up email. The notes and next steps go out without anyone writing them up by hand.
Action item tracking across meetings
Have an agent list meetings over a date range with action items included, then compile every follow-up into one list grouped by owner or deal. Nothing slips through after a busy week of calls.
Call and transcript analysis
Pull transcripts across a set of meetings and let an AI agent analyze themes, questions, and objections, or compare how a topic came up across calls. Get insights from your conversations at scale.
CRM context and deal recaps
Include CRM matches when listing meetings so an agent can tie each call to its account and deal, then summarize recent activity per opportunity. Get a quick read on what’s been said across a deal’s meetings.
Cross-platform meeting workflows
Combine Fathom with Slack, Google Sheets, and Salesforce in a single AI agent: pull a meeting’s summary and action items, log them to a sheet, share the recap in Slack, and add a note to the deal in your CRM through the Salesforce MCP.
Why use Gumloop for Fathom MCP
No API key, no setup
Building your own Fathom MCP server means registering an OAuth app, configuring scopes, and writing code against the Fathom API. Gumloop handles all of that. You click Connect, authorize your Fathom account, and you stay connected.
Works with multiple MCP clients
Use the Fathom MCP server endpoint in Claude Desktop, Cursor, or directly inside Gumloop. Same server URL, works with any MCP client.
Chain Fathom with 100+ other integrations
Combine Fathom with Slack, Google Sheets, Salesforce, and other MCP tools in a single AI agent. Pull a meeting’s summary and action items, then share or log them wherever your team works.
Enterprise-grade and scalable
Built for teams, with role-based permissions and dedicated support for Pro users. The Fathom MCP respects your existing Fathom access, so an agent only reaches the meetings your account can.
Pricing with a free trial
You can test the Fathom MCP integration during Gumloop’s 14-day free trial before committing. Paid plans start at $37/month.
