What is Brandfetch MCP?

The Brandfetch MCP server gives AI agents access to Brandfetch’s brand database. That means agents can search for a brand by name, retrieve a full brand record (logos, colors, fonts, company details, and social links), look up companies by domain or stock ticker, and identify the brand behind a raw payment transaction label. It works across the data Brandfetch already indexes for millions of companies, so an agent can resolve a name or a domain into a clean, structured brand profile.

If your team spends time hunting down logo files, copying hex codes out of brand guidelines, or pasting company details into spreadsheets one row at a time, an AI agent can take over that lookup work. Describe what you need, and your AI agent will handle the brand research for you.

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It’s an open standard that gives AI agents a way to connect to external tools and services. Instead of writing code against the Brandfetch API, managing an API key in environment variables, and parsing JSON responses yourself, you connect Brandfetch to Gumloop once. After that, you can pull brand data just by chatting with your AI agent.

What you can do with Brandfetch MCP on Gumloop

  • Search for any brand by name

Pass a company or brand name and get back the matching brands with their domain, icon, and Brandfetch brand ID. Your AI agent can resolve a messy or partial name into the right company before pulling its full record.

  • Pull complete brand data and assets

Retrieve a brand’s logos, color palette, fonts, company information, and social links in one structured response. Useful when an agent needs the official assets for a deck, a CRM record, or an on-brand piece of content.

  • Look up companies by domain or identifier

Resolve a brand using a domain, brand ID, ISIN, stock ticker, or crypto symbol. Hand an agent a website or a ticker and it can return the company’s brand profile without you searching by hand.

  • Enrich payment transactions

Pass a raw transaction label and the server identifies the brand behind it, returning logos, colors, and company details. This turns cryptic statement descriptors into recognizable merchants.

  • Resolve brand colors and typography

Get the exact hex values, color roles, and font families a company uses, so an agent can apply correct branding to documents, emails, or generated assets instead of guessing.

  • Build brand-aware agents that chain into your stack

Combine Brandfetch lookups with other MCP integrations so an agent can enrich a lead, format a report, or populate a record with accurate company branding as part of a larger task.

Brandfetch MCP use cases

Automated brand asset retrieval for design teams

When a designer needs a partner’s official logo and palette, a Gumloop agent can search the brand, pull its logos, hex colors, and fonts, and drop the assets into a Google Drive folder or a design brief. The team gets correct, current branding without digging through a website’s footer or an old brand guidelines PDF.

Lead and account enrichment for sales and RevOps

Feed an agent a list of company domains and it can look up each brand, attach the logo and company details, and write them back to Google Sheets or your CRM. Reps open accounts that already show the right logo and firmographic context instead of blank fields.

Competitive and market research for marketers

A marketer can ask an agent to gather the logos, colors, and social links for a set of competitors, then compile a side-by-side reference. Pair Brandfetch lookups with a web search tool and the agent can build a quick visual landscape of a category.

Transaction enrichment for fintech and payments teams

When a statement shows a cryptic descriptor, an agent can run it through enrich_transaction to identify the merchant and return its logo and company details. Payments and finance teams turn raw transaction labels into recognizable, branded entries for dashboards or customer-facing statements.

On-brand content generation for content and ops teams

Before generating a report, email, or one-pager about a company, an agent can pull that company’s official logo, colors, and fonts so the output matches their brand. Chain Brandfetch with a docs or slides integration and the branding is applied automatically.

Why use Gumloop for Brandfetch MCP

  • Connect once, no env vars and no code

Most Brandfetch MCP servers you’ll find on GitHub make you store an API key in environment variables and write code to handle authentication and rate limits. With Gumloop, the connection is built in, so many users supply nothing at all, and if you want higher limits you add your own Brandfetch API key once and Gumloop stores it securely. No config files, token management, or coding against the Brandfetch API necessary.

  • Works with multiple MCP clients

Use the Brandfetch MCP server endpoint in Claude Desktop, Cursor, or directly inside Gumloop agents. Same server URL, works with any MCP client.

  • Chain Brandfetch with 100+ other integrations

Combine Brandfetch with Apollo, Google Sheets, Slack, Firecrawl, and other MCP tools in a single AI agent. An agent can pull a brand record, enrich it with firmographic data, and write the result to a sheet or a CRM.

  • Enterprise-grade and scalable

Built for teams, with role-based permissions and dedicated support for Pro users. Run a single lookup or enrich thousands of companies in a batch. For details on Gumloop’s security practices, see trust.gumloop.com.

  • Pricing includes a free plan

You can test the Brandfetch MCP integration on Gumloop’s free tier before committing. Paid plans start at $37/month.
